For countless reasons, I am thrilled that one of my BFF’s, Sherri, got married this past October. But one of my more selfish reasons? Well, until her reception, I didn’t realize that you could rent your very own photo booth for special occasions.
You know how parties go. Ya never wanna be the first one there. Taking advantage of the early lull, I dragged several friends and family into the photo booth with me. But nobody – and I mean NOBODY – saw the inside of that booth more than my baby. Ol’ Bennett is a ham for attention, that love. And he certainly didn’t mind seeing the pictures play back after each snap. Anything with lights and colors will do!
Ma and Pa took more coercing to get inside the booth. Pa ran off with his pics before I got clever enough to capture them on my phone. Ma, however, didn’t get away so fast.
Esther, my basset hound, was sure to keep by my heels the entire time (except for the times when she mistook my sister, Manny, for me… we do have similar voices). Several times, she nosed herself into the photo booth, too.
Here’s some of the fun that was had:
More party details will be released here and there. But for now, Brian and my two youngest siblings just looked over the 157 camera pictures we just uploaded from the party. The three of them have unanimously agreed that I’m not photogenic (you’ll see the bloopers, trust me). Donovan, however, has comforted me with the idea that I’m “videogenic” instead (i.e. “pretty in real life, but not still shots”). Yes, there is video. Yes, you will see it.
Happy Monday!
Well, you may not be photo booth genic but you certainly are photogenic in stills I have with Bennett et al. FOR SURE
Was fun! Love seeing all the various expressions and Esther! what a hoot … ya know, she probably is close to 30 in dog years. 😉
The photo booth was a GREAT idea. I will keep that one in the back of my mind. I love that Esther got us confused. SO sweet. I think that’s how I called her back in that time she got lost in W’Stock. lol. Oy.
