A Former Cookie Monster

Mmmmm… dessert.

Maybe you don’t have a sweet tooth.  Maybe you like salty or savory flavors best.  You’re an enigma to me.

Me?  S.W.E.E.T.S.

I’ve got such an appreciation for buttery, chocolatey, gooey, fruity, flakey treats that I deserve a medal in Self-Control for my ability to limit my intake.  Seriously, if you liked sweets as much as I like sweets, you’d give yourself some boundaries, too.

In fact, the boundaries makes desserts taste even better.  When I have ice cream for breakfast, donuts for lunch and cookies for dinner, I’m kinda over it by noon.  But if I have ice cream once a week or a donut on a sunny day off, then every bite gets savored because it’s magically enhanced by its exclusivity.

So, no, most of the time I don’t eat dessert after dinner.  My daily dessert tends to look more like this:

Don’t feel sorry for me.  I love those gummy vitamins!

But seriously, once upon a time I dubbed myself the Cookie Monster.  Today I’m thankful to have graduated beyond the realm of Sesame Street personalities and into whatever realm keeps me fitting my jeans.

PS – “The Dreadlock Incident” begins tomorrow!

I need to learn this because as you know; if it is sweet, it enters my body!!!!!

I had no idea that you loved sweets so much. Me? Eh, maybe about once a month I crave a sweet. And by sweet I mean, a couple hershey kisses, a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream or 2-3 cookies I made. I’m the salty kind of girl you speak of. The enigma. šŸ˜›
