A Square Piece hodgepodge.

Family stuff:

I just picked Joey and Caitlin up from the airport. Clearly I had a little trouble spotting Joey:

It seems like they’ve had a great honeymoon! It also seems like Mandy, Joey and I have all inherited the Italian story-telling genes. I could listen to him go on for hours! Too bad they had to eat and run.

Husband funnies:

A brief conversation between me and my hubby:

Me, “Brian, we should name our first son Santa.”

Brian, “F*%# it. Why not? …Has anyone else done it?”

Some Thankful Game thoughts:

I’m thankful for the way ice cream feels good on a sore throat.

I’m also thankful for honey and lemon in hot water.

I’m thankful for the times when my basset hound, Esther, acts like a seatbelt across my lap (obviously not in the car).

And I’m thankful for yesterday’s bull’s-eye story cause it still makes me laugh when I think of it.

I’m thankful that making a pot of coffee doesn’t take as long as, say, making a pan of lasagna.

And that I’m only five minutes from the airport.

And I’m thankful for the two little kids who came into the salon today and mentioned how much they loved our backyard concert.

I’m thankful that my husband ran to the grocery store for me today (and put all the cold items in the fridge).

And I’m thankful that the mani/pedi I got for Joey’s wedding still looks so pretty! (Being a haircolorist, I never have pretty nails.)

Have a great weekend!

That is a brilliant idea, however I wonder what school would be like for him… I’m surprised someone hasn’t already done it. After all, there are Jesus’ out there. You know what I mean?
