There’s nothing like waking up at home. Not your home, the one you’re paying a mortgage for, but the one where you know your mom will be up first and brewing a pot of coffee. That home.
Brian and I headed to the Shenandoah Valley late last night. My sister had a futon ready for us. When Momma came downstairs to say both her hello and her goodnight, I think she almost teared up rubbing my belly.
Bennett was definitely playing hard to get though. Only Olivia was able to feel a few slight bumpity-bumps.
And while this wasn’t exactly meant to be a birthday trip, Mandy was pretty ready to spoil me with some gifts she had been squirreling away. You have GOT to see this bag she got me. Read what it says. If you know anything about me, you’ll see what an awesome find that was!
Can you see that? It says, “I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, for His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”
Awwwwwww…
She also got the matching pocket mirror, keychain, magnet pad and bracelet (but I put the bracelet charm on a necklace). (Dee! You got me that Pea in a Pod necklace, remember?!)
Wait… You’re still wondering where the belly pics are? Well… *sigh* I suppose I could indulge you with a few progressive preggo pics soon. 😉
Yes! Looks great together.
Was so good to see the three of you. Delilah and Esther were quite the entertainment. 🙂 Mandy really scored with your gifts. Can’t wait to see you all again. 🙂
And, yes, I did tear up when I patted your belly. 🙂
😉
Awwwwww…..awesome. And I love that you put the charm on your necklace.
😀
