A colorful and flowery packet arrived in the mail yesterday. (It’s always nice to get real mail in your mailbox.)
My siblings, Mandy, Olivia and Donovan, and our friend, Rachael, mailed me some birthday cards!
Here’s Rachael’s:
There was a really thoughtful message on the inside, too. (Thanks, Rachael!)
Here’s Mandy’s:
Then:
Isn’t that sweet? That’s my Manny.
Olivia went the homemade route (which is precious, of course). I should point out that my family name has been “Sunanna” for probably 14 years or so. When Donovan was a baby, that’s the best he could do to say my name. It absolutely makes my heart melt and all children and friends are eagerly welcomed to join in calling me Sunanna.
Then:
(Olivia, that was a super kind message!)
And Donovan kept the tradition of referring to all things birthday as “burfday.” I *think* that we got this from a mouse on Cinderella. But then again, we’ve been quoting movies to each other for so long, it’s hard to be sure any more.
Then:
And the back:
(Donovan, I believe that you did spell “burfday” correctly. However, in my opinion, you can insert as many F’s as you like depending on your enthusiasm and depending on how you’d actually say that in real life.)
Aww!!!
🙂
I love this post!
“Happy burfday, Sunanna!”
Happy burfffffday sweet Sunanna!!
Happy Birthday Sunanna! You are a blessing to us.
You and your family are so very special! Happy burfffday, Sunanna!
I hope you have the best birthday ever!
A very merry burfday to you! Your card will be late as usual. It’s just my genius way of making the birthday goodness last a lil longer. I am forever grateful for you! I’m just loving seeing Gods goodness being showered into your life! Love you bunches!
How awesome!!! What a great package to get on your Birthday!!! Love ya girl
