Listen, I’m not one to drone on and on about the weather, but I need you to give me a minute.
Puh-lease, Lord, can you keep the rain away for a little?
‘Cause I was given the sweetest gift in my driveway today, and I’d like it to stick around for a while.
Is this not a masterpiece? Would you not love to come home to such cheer?
And look:
They even know that my preferred name is Sunanna. (Donovan started it when he was just a babe. Everyone else has carried on the tradition.)
We’ve got flags and castles:
We’ve got reminders that we’re great:
We’ve got hearts:
We’ve got a snail:
*sigh*
Thanks Knox, Finn, Danielle and Luke. You guys are always welcome to decorate my driveway!
What a sweet thing to come home to.
beautiful … what wonderful neighbors you have
🙂
Love it.
They made me smile today.
How sweet! 🙂
I would feel the same as you guys. But, do you realize some would not. Don’t mean to be a party pooper, but there are actually people who would feel this was ‘defacing’ their property. Isn’t that sad? Birds nests make me happy to…even in my eaves….even if they potentially could damage the wood. I love to watch them being built and hear the chirping of the new babes!
Someone else mentioned the same thing to me today about some people not taking too kindly to this. I might be immature in saying this, but I think those people need therapy… ’cause there’s definitely something deeper going on there.
Enjoy the beautiful things in life, especially if it can be washed off with a hose is what I would say to them.
Love the artwork!
LOVE this!
Which reminds me…we need more chalk….
🙂
