Dear Bennett,
Your dad spent a lot of time with you tonight. He read you two books. One book was Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? (We really look forward to reading this one to you some more. It’s great for learning colors! And it was given to you by your “Aunt Dannielle.”)
Then Brian read you a book on parenting. Now, your dad isn’t trying to teach you how to be a good parent. No, that read was more just so that you could get to know his voice. Just listen to the sound of his deep, sweet voice and let that soothe and relax you.
When he was finished reading, he rested his head against my belly and talked and talked to you.
“Bennett!
Bennett, can you hear me?
I love you, Bennett.
I can’t wait to meet you.
I can’t wait to teach you things.
I can’t wait to see what you’re like.”
(Me: Can you wait to change his diapers?)
“I can’t wait to change your diapers, Bennett.
And I can’t wait until you’re potty trained.
Your mom looks beautiful today, but you don’t know it.
Can you hear me, Bennett?”
Your dad patiently awaited your reply.

Sometimes he felt you roll.

And sometimes you kicked him right in the ear.

It’s okay. He loved it.
“He’s strong!” your dad would exclaim.
Thanks for playing along, little one.
With a growing love,
Your Mom
That’s very sweet, don’t you love when Brian get to feel the baby moving, and when he chats with Bennett š I think its funny when Jonathan acts like him and Sophia are talking. <3

I hope you will make sure all of these are saved for Bennett. He will probably be online very early in life, you know. The words and pictures are so precious.
Happy today, my firewall isn’t working at my office, so I can read your last few posts. I have so little time to read at home.
BIG SMILE!
I agree, you both are going to be awesome parents!
Love and miss you both.
