Dear Bennett,
My darling son, you turned four months old yesterday! My, how you’ve grown! Simply incredible.
And I don’t just mean that you’ve grown physically. (Though you have. Yesterday they weighed you just two ounces shy of 14 pounds!) Your smile has grown; your personality has grown. Once upon a time, your tight, little fists wouldn’t open for anything! And now? Now my heart stops when I watch you rest your open palm on my chest.
Your muscles are growing and strengthening as you bound around in your Jumperoo! Your brain is growing as you study the size and texture of every object that I so eagerly display before you.
You know what else is growing? Your drool. In fact, I sense a tsunami of drool on the horizon.
Bennett, these have been the fastest four months of my life.
I love you so, so, so much. You melt my insides.
Holy XOXO’s,
Your Mommy

Beautiful letter for your darling boy. You can be confident, because it is apparent to all of us, you spent these four months giving all you could to lay the foundation for the happiness we see expressed in this photo.
You done good my dear…an understatement.
I can’t believe it’s been four months already! Happy four months Bennett! Pretty soon you’ll be like me and won’t believe it’s been 16 months!
I started nannying a 5 month old little girl today & I couldn’t help but think of Bennett! So precious at that age!
Indeed!
Awww, so cute!
He is so amazing! I loved spending time with the 2 of you Sunday. <3
