Dear Brian,
Thank you for taking care of me today. Even though it’s not important to you that the house be spotless, thank you for letting the things that matter to me matter to you.
Sorry that I raised my voice last night when you asked if I wanted the house to look “nice” or to look “perfect.”
The dishwashing, the mopping, the couch cleaning – all of these were like bouquets of exotic flowers, each with notes expressing your love for me. I know that you’d never delight in the joy of housework if you were a bachelor. Your servant’s heart is really a treasure and I’m so thankful for it.
The holiday progressive dinner went well and I was proud to share our festive home with my coworkers. I couldn’t have done it without you.
And thank you for rubbing tanning lotion on my back. It was perfect. No streaks.
Sweet dreams.
Pull over if you get tired from driving.
See you tomorrow.
Do your best work and remember who you belong to.
Holy XOXO’s,
Suzy**
