Today’s Spam of the Week is indeed special. It comes from mmo browser Games in reply to Armed with a Q-tip:
I was curious if you ever thought of changing the structure of your website? Its very wel written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little mote in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youvve got an awful lott
of texxt for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
Ahem.
Dear mmo browser Games,
Let me get this straight. You want me to change my website because I don’t have enough pictures for you? Like, the word/picture ratio is too out of proportion?
I see. Clearly words are not your thing.
But, ya know, this is a b.l.o.g. …not a comic book. And I’m a writer …not the publisher of Highlights. Which, come to think of it, you might’ve liked as a child. Would’ve done a world of good.
Anyhow.
Could I perhaps redirect your need for pictures to the publishers of cookbooks. You know which ones I’m talking about? The ones that only show pictures of some, but not all, of their recipes? Get back to me when you make a breakthrough.
Holy XOXO’s,
Suzy**
PS: Did you even READ Armed with a Q-tip? Trust me. You did NOT want to see a picture of THAT.
And today’s Comment of the Week comes from Elena (of Three Lil Monkeys) in reply to Mondays with Momma: Adoption:
This is an amazing story! It is one that is very dear to my heart because I was adopted when I was six as well! I was actually just talking to Suzanna about this when she did my awesome haircut! It brings me so much joy to see other families adopt children at such an older age because now a days everyone just wants babies! You are an inspiration to me! My first daughter was completely Gods gift ( I was never supposed to be able to get pregnant) and I am sure when I am ready I would also love to have an adopted child! Thank you so much for sharing!
Dear Elena,
Okay, technically the reply should be from Momma since that was her post, but… Thank you for relating and sharing your perspectives! Now about that smokin’ hot before-and-after makeover…
Thanks for trusting me! You look incredible!
Holy XOXO’s,
Suzy**
Elena you look wonderful!
Wow! that IS an awesome makeover!! 🙂
Spam, bahahahaha!
Even worse than part of the recipe, is no recipe at all ….. and the picture is to drool over. 😛
She looks great! Nice work, Sue. Oh and I love that “highlights” comment. I enjoyed that magazine. 🙂 Of course, I am more of a picture kind of girl too. LOL
What a wonderful change. Takes off years and makes her twice as beautiful!
