Brian was singing in my ear yesterday. I recognized the tune as being by Josh Garrels.
Ah!, I thought, He must’ve gotten the same email that I got this morning!
Josh Garrels is letting people download five of his albums for free! What?! Do you know that the first summer that Brian and I attended Cornerstone Music Festival, nobody’s CD’s cost more than Josh Garrels. And now? Well, now he’s got a savvy idea to make a great impact over in Africa.
Here’s what arrived in my inbox yesterday:
I’d say that taking advantage of this offer is guilt-free indulgence, wouldn’t you? A little music, perhaps a little generosity toward Africa… Not too shabby!
There isn’t another artist who comes to my mind that is able to walk the tightrope between mellow calm and enlightened wisdom in the manner that he executes. In fact, Josh Garrels played on repeat the ENTIRE time that I was in labor with Bennett, right up to the minute that they placed him on my chest. Yeah, his music affects me that much. It’s intoxicating.
Take a minute to download this music. Seriously. You won’t regret it.
Okay, I was confused at first, cause I knew you were linking to something, so I disabled my adblock and the image showed up. š
Happy, happy, happy. š
That’s pretty awesome.
