It’s that time of year again, the time to be faked out by bugs.
Whether it’s mosquitoes, gnats or flies, you name it, once one touches me, it’s over. For the rest of the night, I’m scratching and checking, running my hands through my hair and swatting invisible insects around any exposed skin.
Though I try not to expose too much skin.
And my legs hate me for it.
When I saw my sister, Mandy, last Thursday, I immediately began processing the undeniable fact that she looked younger. But then I realized that what I was really noticing was her glowing tan.
You know how you get a tan? You go outside.
You know what’s outside? Bugs.
It seems I’m chasing my tail round and round.
And, no, I’ll not be getting into any tanning beds any time soon. I’m making a part-time living now and the sun is free.
…Which just reminds me… The best things in life really ARE free.
I’m the same way with bugs. lol. Drives me nuts.
I will lend u bug spray 🙂
You will get better because you won’t want Bennett to have this same fear. You will kill a spider one day, I
guarantee. This is totally from experience!
Bah ha ha. Yeah, it’s my healthy glow and the fact that I don’t have kids that I look younger. 😛
