Hair Tutorial Gone Wrong.

Recently, a friend directed me to a must-see, video hair tutorial.

The more I watch it, the funnier it gets.

Now, I’m not one to, for instance, laugh when a person trips and falls.  I don’t find delight in the failure of others.  But I’ve seen this girl, Tori, interviewed on national TV and she’s able to laugh at herself and this incident.  And, well, if SHE can laugh at herself, then I refuse to feel guilty for finding this so entertaining.

For the record, I don’t care for that wand she was using.  This is my favorite wand that I use at home, in the salon and for most formal styles, too:

Enzo Milano Reverso

When the tip is wider than the base, you don’t end up with flat roots and curly ends.  While I suspect that this girl Tori’s wand probably just shorted and fried her hair, I’d recommend taking a much thicker section of hair if you were going to heat it up for that long.  I’ve got my stylist hat on today and am willing to field some questions.

Well she handled it in a good way. I just learned how to get beach waves the other day. Twist your hair, curl it and brush through. Who knew. So easy.

Showed this to Olivia last night.
Glad she was able to laugh it off later and share it with the world. 🙂

The look of surprise and shock is funny… And I agree with you, it makes you laugh the more and more you watch it. She was doing such a good job explaining it! I think she handled it with poise.
