Help me celebrate Brian’s birthday.

In just two days, my husband will be celebrating his 29th birthday and I know just how you can celebrate with us.

Here’s the thing: Brian reads Square Piece every single day.  Most of the time he’ll read my posts aloud in the morning while I’m getting ready for work.  (It helps for me to hear how my writing sounds to someone else.)  Brian’s incredibly patient with me as I correct him (“No, read it like it’s typed.”) and question him (“Is it pantRy or pantY?”)  Additionally, he reads each and every comment and positively beams with pride for me.

And – let’s face it – what would Square Piece be without my Brian stories?

So I’ll make you a deal.

Look at the categories on the right side of this page.  See “THE HUSBAND FUNNIES”?

In honor of my hubby’s last year in his twenties, if you read any post from the husband funnies and leave an honest, creative and/or appreciative comment here or there, then on Monday, his birthday, I’ll write up one of my all-time favorite “Brian stories” that has left us giggling for years (no, not the one about dreadlocks… that’s being saved for February).

If you’re not sure where to begin, you can try:

The Cottage Cheese Incident

The Mint Incident

The Pantyliner Incident

Gimmmeeeahuuuugggg

The Jeans Incident

Chris read this to me last night. What a great idea for Brian’s birthday!

I LOVE how you include so much of Brian on here! Sometimes I appreciate what you share because it a helps me realize that I’m not alone and that men are just…….men. But mostly I just appreciate the smiles, and the laughter that life with Brian and his sweet personality bring to me through iwantasquarepiece.

I do love the gimmieeeahuuugggg one. It’s sweet. It’s like saying “good morning” and starting the day off right consistently every single day. I like that. I try to say “thank you” to God first thing every day when I wake. It’s a cute habit he has going for you. 🙂
