Two compliments that will carry me for at least a few days:
This morning at church, as I walked back to my seat (Yes, I went to the restroom no less than three times!), the woman sitting behind me tapped me on the shoulder. When I turned, she whispered, “I think you’re the prettiest pregnant woman I’ve ever seen.”
WELL! That sure was unexpected …And so, so kind of her! Every pregnant woman needs to be told she’s beautiful every now and then.
And yesterday, one of my faithful readers, Emiley, broke her silence by commenting on Eleven Year Old Square Piece, Part 4:
“You just flat out crack me up, Suzy. You make me smile every day!”
Folks, it does not get much better than that for me. To ever know that I make you smile makes me smile all over again. It’s one of those vicious cycles in which I’m thrilled to be caught up! **sigh**
Feeling mighty cozy after a wonderful day. Will catch you up on the salon baby shower ASAP.
I had a wonderful time at the shower. It was so nice to meet your lovely clients and co-workers. I know I’ve said it before, but it bears saying again, your boss is awesome!!! (I love her laugh!!!)
I could not help thinking how good it feels to see how blessed you are to have had three WONDERFUL baby showers for your first child. What a joy and treasure it is to see so many people literally “shower” you with love and kindness. 🙂
I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures. 🙂
One of my favorite things about being blessed is when you can witness it, too, ’cause I know it blessed you, too.
You make me smile every day as well. I so look forward to your blog posts. You are indeed one beautiful woman – whether pregnant or not!!!! Pregnancy just accents it all!
Thanks, Dee! It was nice to see you and I’m glad you brought Rose, too!
I, too, had a wonderful time at your baby shower and especially liked meeting your mom and sisters. So great to have real faces to go along with your stories! You are greatly loved, Suzy!
Amen! 🙂
Michelle and I are sorry that we missed it (I was sick). And you always look beautiful! Can I be you when I grow up?
Sure, if I can have your culinary abilities.
Done! Just watch every episode of Julia Child and be fearless!
