Ain’t no shame.
Ain’t no shame in succumbing to this.
On Friday morning, I awoke to the most intense leg cramp (A.K.A. charley horse) of my life. IT. STILL. HURTS.
Being that Donovan and Olivia are in town and could use help with their back-to-school shopping, I’m being a good sport and trying my best to lead the way… on my scooter. (I did limp through the mall some, but our final stop was at Target; and I couldn’t have been happier to sit.)
Considering the fact that Olivia almost peed herself while laughing at the way I kept accidentally bumping into racks and knocking garments onto the floor, I think we had a good evening. (But seriously, the clothing aisles have no room to turn!) And Brian? He had a grin plastered to his face from the moment I sat in my little, red chariot until I got out. He especially loved when I needed to back up.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Ain’t no shame.
No shame at all! You look so cute!
LOL, now you know why Charley had that intense look on his face while going through Food Lion using one of those things for the first time. LOL
David took his first ride last week at Target too. I was thrilled he succumbed to the chariot ride! I didn’t dare laugh though. Hope your feeling better.
Good for you! Jeremy is having door surgery Tuesday, but i don’t think he’d allow himself this comfort….man pride, oh brother. I’ll tell him this story. Maybe he’ll be inspired.
Oh no! I dislike charley horses a lot! I’ve had two and they were memorable. What helps me not have them is to stretch my legs in the morning with my toes pointed backward. (If I point them forward, my calf cramps up and it hurts…well…all day too.)
there are times when i could probably use one of those, but i KNOW i would knock over rows and rows of shelves!
This is not a ‘shame’, it’s just ‘smart’!
Bah ha ha ha! I love it! That’s awesome. I’m so glad that there is a picture to document this occasion. 😀
