Mystery muffins.

This girl right here made some muffins the other night.  Oooooohhhh, they were healthy and whole!  Ol’ Square Piece got inspired in the kitchen, whipping up my soaked, organic spelt flour, milk & yogurt, some sucanat cane sugar, etc.

Being that Brian’s version of indulgence has more to do with Chef Boyardee’s canned ravioli than my very involved kitchen experiments, I was fairly certain that he was gonna hate ’em on the premise that they weren’t cupcakes.

Nevertheless, I brought him one fresh from the oven with the warning, “Now, they’re healthy.”

Brian took a bite  and sputtered a little, “Yep, they’re definitely healthy.”

Given the fact that I was boring holes into him, he tried another taste.

“I think the apples make it good though,” he continued.

Chuckling, I giggled, “Oh, you do, huh?”

Brian, “They’re not apples are they?”

Me, “Nope.”

Not a single apple in the whole recipe.

Brian, “…or bananas or whatever’s in here…”

Apples… bananas… what difference does it make?  Where’s the frosting and sprinkles?!
