If I had a lot of disposable income, I’d rent a photo booth for every occasion. As it is, our humble picture station had to suffice for Bennett’s first birthday party. Per the written instructions that were duct taped to the door, everyone had to:
- write a message to Bennett on the chalk board talk bubble.
- put on a comic newspaper hat.
- stand in front of the yellow board and ask someone to take their picture.
We’ve got some really sweet, adorable, loving messages to pass along to this kid one day.
Then there were those who needed a buddy so as not to feel too uncomfortable in front of the camera.
Then there were those who got a little silly.
Then there were those who got a little carried away… perhaps a little high on cake and ice cream…
(As you can see, we sometimes have a hard time with self-expression in this family. Ba ha ha ha…)
Then there were those who… well… tried to get out of playing along.
Welcome to my square world. All must comply. (Except for Momma. I’m not sure how she managed to get out without a picture! For shame!)
You know I’m shy around cameras. š
I love all of these!
I love the homemade photo station!!! One of your best ideas!!!! It looked like a great time was had by all.
these are all awesome–especially Olive’s!
That’s one of my faves, too!
Grow strong and mighty! I like that one! LOL I know I had fun with it, of course. š
Those are great. Now I think Momma needs to do a whole session by herself. š
So excellent. Actually, better than photo booth. More relaxed and love the messages. Very happy to be present.
What fun!! Olivia appears to have grown up a lot since last pics I remember seeing & I love her photo.
