Later into pregnancies, the frequencies of checkups begin to increase. As I was driving to yet another appointment this morning, I wondered to myself, What’s this one even for? I feel fine. I think I’m fine. I think Bennett is fine. I wish I didn’t have to go so often…
Then one of my midwives, Margie, came into the room and checked my chart. When she got to my weight gain (yep, an extra pound since last time) she gushed over how perfect my weight gain has been and that she wished she could make me a “poster child” for healthy pregnancy weight gain.
Ah ha. Yes, that. THAT is why I needed an appointment today.
That, and everything that we can glean about Bennett seems to be communicating excellent development.
Now to sort through all of my baby loot and try to make some sense and organization out of the nursery…
You do look great! Lucky you š your going to walk out of the hospital and nobody will even be able to tell you just gave birth!
Ha! We shall see. Don’t jinx me… š
So new to this internet stuff and wanted to tell you I want to communicate via email and not this route. Have stories about great grandmother wanted to fill you in on. You have my email because of this site. thanks
I’m on it.
YAY!!!
I saw this earlier and I wanted to respond … but its been a supercrazybusy day … poor, poor Peri … off to the vet where he ended up losing another inch of his tail … kids had meal ministry right after they got off the bus … dropped them off and then dashed to Eburg to pay a bill two mins before the office close, and wouldn’t you know it, my check flew out the teller window drawer! had to squeeze out the van door and retrieve it quick! …. then back to vet to pick up Winkles and so much for him “resting” … he’s prowling around like a caged lion and freaking out Charity with the bandage on his tail (she literally had a “what the heck” look on her face when she saw it) …
where was I … oh yeah, I saw your post and I wanted to say … LOVE IT!!!
š
Amen! Praise be!
