Fortunately for you, my friend, Katie, was unable to arrive at Bennett’s birth until – literally – the last push! I say fortunately because otherwise you might have ended up seeing pictures that you never wanted to see.
Being that I was in intense concentration, when they asked if I wanted my photographer to come in, I shouted, “NO!” But, you see, not only was I working on getting Bennett out, believe it or not I was STILL trying to keep the charley horses at bay! With that one, right leg in the air, during pushing and during stitching, I STILL had to keep working my calf muscle and flexing my foot to keep a cramp from coming. I don’t even know what I would have done if I had experienced birth and a charley horse at the same time. I mean that last one had me limping for four days! Sheesh.
In this picture, you see Brian’s hands still serving me post-birth. He also stepped in to squeeze my leg muscles for me. Such a great guy.
You definitely have a special and wonderful husband.
Yes, she does, Heather. 🙂
Sweet.
That water looks better than the finest wine!
You must have been very thirsty, poor baby. Lots of
hard work up until this moment.
Good job dear and so worth it.
I never stopped being thirsty! I’m STILL thirsty!
I really am so glad that you have Brian. What an amazing match he has ended up being to you. Kudos to Brian!
