Esther began sounding the alarm a few minutes ago.
Who’s she barking at now? I thought to myself.
From the sound of her intensity, you would have thought that perhaps there was a robber… or a UPS man… or another dog… or a gaggle of squirrels.
But no. When Brian and I looked outside, we both had to sigh, “Awwwwww…”
So cute.
Because we Spears live at the highest point on the cul de sac, the neighbor kids were actually relocating snow into our front yard with their shovels. There are presently snowboards strewn about our driveway, so I think I can safely assume their intentions.
Naturally I had to put on my paparazzi face and sneak a few pictures while they were unaware:
*happy sigh*
Young men on a mission.
One day soon, another little man will be added to that adventure. 🙂
Love it!
You are a good neighbor to leave them to their task without frightening them away. Maybe they will help Bennett prepare this snow hill when he is bigger and they can all enjoy the fun.
Our teenaged neighbors have build an ice rink in their backyard and have been prepping it for a couple of weeks. Last night, I enjoyed watching the fun they and their friends were having while I remained warm and comfy in my kitchen and they were getting rosy cheeks on the other side of our backyard fence.
Life is such great entertainment.
Isn’t it wonderful to have a ‘dog on duty’ 🙂
