Brian was on daddy duty yesterday. Being that Bennett has been feeling a little under the weather (and/or cutting teeth), I suggested that Brian bring the babe to the salon so that I could nurse instead of pump during my two breaks.
Brian is more than happy to pass that torch to me since our Benny Boo still prefers the boob to the bottle. Naturally I was looking forward to showing off my growing boy to my coworkers and clients.
Did I notice that Brian brought him in 1) with no shoes, 2) with buttons mismatched into the wrong button holes and 3) with a wall of snotties crusted all around his sad, little nose?
Of course I noticed. I’m a Square Piece.
But did I care? Not as much as I could’ve. I’m a growing Square Piece.
So your still a square piece but we are seeing more sides like a cube?
I think kids out things into perspective. I love the “luvs” commercial when they do the compare the “first kid” with the “second kid” scene. I always think of you. I guess you get more relaxed as time goes on.
