Oh, I’m procrastinating.
There are a thousand things about which I could compose a post.
My new, high-waisted, black, skinny jeans? (I’ve determined that the “mom” part of “mom jeans” isn’t so much the high waist as it is the placement of the back pockets. Agree? Disagree?)
Those pesky spider-crickets that were in my tub this morn? Yes, “crickets” was plural.
The way my heart tugs at the thought of Bennett turning one? (I’m sure my Benny-Boo stories are getting old, but I still feel like he’s BRAND NEW!)
The way that I *might* have caved and applied a dab of discreet color to my hair. (No, it had nothing to do with the grays. But perhaps the wrinkle of champions appreciates having a lighter backdrop.)
The fact that my heart feels a little discouraged that Square Piece gets hundreds of hits a day, yet only eight people have entered the Three Lil Monkeys contest? (It ends in one week. These odds are wayyyyyy better than the lottery!)

I will always appreciate your stories about Bennett! Don’t stop writing about him!! Now that the government is reopening this morning, I have been playing the thankful game my self.
I’m thankful I make enough money to float us when Chris only got half a paycheck last week.
I’m thankful that elected officials finally came to a truce for now
I’m thankful I will be able to attend Sue’s baby shower on the 26th
