Upon noticing my obsession for all things pertaining to The Little Prince, my friend, Leslie, gifted Bennett a beautiful, handmade, Little Prince romper and Bennett’s just now fitting into it!
If you’ve never read The Little Prince, it’s one of those make-an-adult-think books disguised as a children’s book. About once a year, I spend an hour refreshing myself in the spring waters of the little prince’s mind and try to remember how not to take myself so seriously that I can’t tell that a picture of a boa who has swallowed an elephant isn’t a hat.
Read the book and that last sentence will make more sense.
Incredibly charming and insightful.
Well, now I have my own little prince! And his precious romper made it’s debut at the beach!
Please excuse the syrupy sweetness oozing from this mini photo shoot. I used to be funny, but now I’m just mushy. Mushy, mushy, mushy. Do forgive me.
“Oh, hello, Mom!”
“Hey, wait, you wanna take pictures of ME?”
“Well, then let me get my baby model face on!”
“Oh, I see, we need to explore the beach, too.”
“Would it have hurt to warn me that the water is cold?!”
“But I don’t mind it as much when Daddy keeps me jumping. I love to jump, jump, jump.”
Thank you, Leslie, for the sweet romper!
(Check out Rosebasket if you’d like something made for yourself!)
Beautiful way to start my day. 🙂
Love the second pic face!
I had to refrain from posting, like, 20 more. Thanks, K!
The romper is just beautiful. Very sophisticated baby.
Looks like grandchild of royal family in Picture #1, my favorite. Hair coiffed by Suzanna, no doubt!
Doesn’t take much to coif. Just a palm in one direction. 🙂
PS: I really like that first one, too.
This little boy is so precious and so full of expression. He has attitude already. I love it!
Love the second pic! Ha! He is SO beautiful. SO handsome. SO gorgeous. Love that sweet face!
