In honor of my 311th post, I’d like to take a minute to be thankful.
Join me, won’t you?
I’m thankful that both of my dogs are asleep right now, making for a peaceful house.
And I’m thankful that my cat, Samson, is also behaving insomuch as he isn’t presently stepping on my head in an attempt to get me to turn on a faucet.
I’m thankful for jackets.
And I’m thankful that my wavy hair doesn’t look too nasty when it’s been rained on.
I’m thankful to be 13 weeks pregnant today.
And I’m thankful for all the websites that use fruit to illustrate the size of this little baby in my belly. This week’s featured fruit is a peach.
I’m thankful that my husband is working for our church. I’ve always known he’d be great at that.
And I’m thankful for the pleasant manner in which Brian allowed me to wake this morning (there was the sound of him doing the dishes accompanied by the lullaby of Josh Garrels).
I’m thankful for hot soup (particularly Italian Wedding Soup).
And I’m thankful that Brian suggested we go get lunch together today.
I’m thankful that gas isn’t $10.00 a gallon.
And I’m thankful that I got to see most of my family yesterday.
I’m thankful that my mom trusts me with blind, mirror-free haircuts on the living room floor.
And I’m thankful that she popped in Monsters Inc. while I was snipping away.
I’m thankful to have more insight into God’s covenant with Abraham thanks to Mike’s sermon yesterday. (Free podcasts! Just search Guilford Baptist Church podcast feed in iTunes and you should be able to find them.)
And I’m thankful for hangers.
I’m thankful that my manicure has lasted one week and two days! Thanks to the work of my hands, my nails usually chip in 1-2 days; but this guy must have worked some serious magic.
And I’m thankful for cat naps in sunny spots.
I’m thankful for the hum of the washer and dryer.
And I’m thankful that they both beep when their cycles are done.
For what are you thankful?
I’m thankful for blankets on a cold day.
My child eating tons of cookies.( their healthy ones)
Thankful for a soft bed.
Rainy days that force me to get tons of laundry done.
Pandora
God being so graceful towards me.
A sweet husband who know just what to do or say.
Chai tea
…….
I am thankful for….
~Grilled cheese and tomato soup
~talented hairstylists that are thoughtful to give children/preteens awesome, and
thorough hair cuts š
~ the Dog Whisperer
~medical insurance
I am thankful for boneless chicken at Shaffer’s.
I’m thankful we were able to visit with Ma/Pa today.
I’m thankful they are still able to get around and are in fair health.
I’m thankful that tonight will hopefully be the last round of home I.V. antibiotics for Charley.
I’m thankful that God has my back …. and front and sides …..
mexican food and tums. sleeping through the night last night. my husband who doesn’t keep track of how many foot rubs he’s given and how many he’s not in turn received.
I am thankful that my dog, Krystal, had her xrays today on her knee after she had surgery 1 month ago today and she is healing very well!
I’m thankful to get up each morning and look forward to facing the day.
I’m thankful for my family is all in relatively good health, including our dog, Cleo, who is now almost 14 years old.
I’m thankful antibiotics and change of habits have caused Cleo to stop peeing on my dining room rug, for now. Have no idea how long this will last but
each day is a blessing.
I’m thankful for the best gnocchi with creamy pesto sauce I’ve ever had…last Saturday night at LaPanetteria in Bethesda, MD.
I’m thankful for the many smiles I have each day, including the one which inevitably comes when I read Suzanna’s wonderful blog. Several days are
unread and I must catch up but that is no chore.
I’m thankful Suzanna is 13 weeks pregnant and she
and Brian are doing so well.
I’m thankful I have so many other things to be thankful for, I could write the whole day and probably not complete the list.
I made a mistake in my second item of thanks. Strike the word ‘for’ before ‘my family’. Should I be thankful for OCD or not? It holds me in good stead at work but perhaps proofing your own blog entry is not necessary š ?
