The Thankful Game, Part 21.

If you’re keeping up, it looks like I just skipped from The Thankful Game, Part 19 to The Thankful Game, Part 21.  Be not worried.  I snuck Part 20 into the I Found Waldo post.

Shall we commence?

I’m thankful for fly swatters.

And I’m thankful for the times when Esther is at peace, not being tormented by the buzz of the one, lone fly.

I’m thankful for orange juice.

And I’m thankful for stillness.

I’m thankful for the abundance of information at my fingertips on the internet.

And I’m thankful for the way Brian brings me my pills with a glass of water at night.

I’m thankful that I haven’t had any leg cramps for a couple of weeks.

And I’m thankful for fresh flowers on the kitchen table.

I’m thankful that fall is right around the corner.

And I’m thankful for options.

I’m thankful that English was my first language.

And I’m thankful that six months ago when I didn’t know that I was pregnant and the dentist asked if there was “any chance” that I “could be” pregnant, I said, “Yeah,” and they didn’t X-ray me.

I’m thankful for the movement that I feel in my belly.

And I’m thankful that throughout this entire pregnancy I haven’t had to miss one day of work for feeling too unwell.

I’m thankful for Psalm 123.

And I’m thankful for washing machines.

I’m thankful for hand-me-downs.

And I’m thankful for guacamole.

I’m thankful for ice cubes that are shaped like anything but a cube.

And I’m thankful for all the private messages people send me after reading my blogs when they feel the need to comment discreetly.

For what are you thankful?
