The Thankful Game, Part 24.

It’s been a while since I’ve looked back to see where I left off in my series of thankfulness.  Even though I’ve popped in a few smaller blurbs here and there, I believe that we’re officially on our 24th round!

Let’s go out with a bang, shall we?

I’m thankful for the way that cheeks flush.

And I’m thankful for persistence.

I’m thankful for the way that Charley loved ice cream.

And I’m thankful for Sister Act 2.

I’m thankful for my new BC Microderm Apeel (my skin feels amazzzzzzzzing and much fewer clogged pores!).

And I’m thankful for strawberry tints.

I’m thankful for eyelash curlers.

And I’m thankful for extension cords.

I’m thankful for the way that eyes squint when smiling broadly.

And I’m thankful for hot broth.

I’m thankful for talc.

And I’m thankful for the smells of candles that have just been blown out.

I’m thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to safely experience the rumbling of one earthquake… you know, just enough to tell the tale and nothing more.

And I’m thankful for tree skirts.

I’m thankful for gentleness.

And I’m thankful for people who like to keep themselves busy.

I’m thankful for unexpected, thoughtful treats.

And I’m thankful for that deep voice in the Rolo’s commercials.

I’m thankful for booming laughter.

And I’m thankful for goofiness.

I’m thankful for ribbon.

And I’m thankful for duct tape.

I’m thankful for light switches.

And I’m thankful for slippers.

I’m thankful for the compassion of Christ.

And I’m thankful that he FELT emotion and didn’t hide it.

I’m thankful for the way that fruits and veggies and even dairy all taste sweeter when I eat less sugar.

And I’m thankful for pie crusts.

I’m thankful for people who get the honey from the bees.

And I’m thankful for O Holy Night.

I’m thankful for the sound of my son saying, “Mommy.”

And I’m thankful for the sound of my husband giggling with my son.

I’m thankful for the way that you can hear smiles over the phone.

And I’m thankful for hope.
