In honor of my 96th post, I’d like to take a minute to be thankful. And since my sister and husband are in the room, they’re going to play along.
I’m thankful for homemade, jarred peaches.
Mandy, “…that we found some kick-butt, awesome … does Joey read your blog? …I’m thankful that we found an awesome gift for him… in the perfect color.”
Brian, “…to be alive.”
I’m thankful that my sister trusts my fashion advice.
Mandy, “…I’m thankful that you only live only a little over an hour away.”
Brian, “…my wife… and power tools.”
I’m thankful for the bubble inside a leveler. I think it’s nice when things are level.
Mandy, “I think Brian’s thankful for cast iron. I’m thankful for naps. I love naps. I think that we should all have siestas.”
Brian, “…uh, customers.”
I’m thankful for ornaments.
Mandy, “I’m not gonna lie. I’m definitely thankful… even though I’m in a waiting period right now… I’m thankful FOR the waiting period. Healing, I guess you could say. Healing, restful periods. That’s kind of like napping.”
I’m thankful for the difference between men and women… that women like to elaborate.
Brian, “…uh, pancakes.”
Me, too. He’s currently making us some in his cast iron pan before I go do Mandy’s hair.
Brian, “I’m thankful for Mike and Karen… and that I could watch the game at their house last night… and eat cheese steaks.”
Mandy, “And I’m thankful that Atlanta beat them.”
