The thankful game, part 7.

In honor of my 110th post, I’d like to take a moment to be thankful.

I’m thankful that my sweet pea body spray has a little glitter in it.

And I’m thankful that I was able to resist my passenger, the buttermilk spice muffin, that rode in the car with me for about three hours today (so that I was able to give it to Brian).

I’m thankful for technology that allows me to use the phone and be hands-free.

And I’m thankful for the way my boss treats us all to breakfast when we have salon meetings.

I’m thankful that my brother’s wedding was the most beautiful wedding that I’ve ever been to in all my life.

And I’m thankful for girl time with my girlfriends.

I’m thankful that due to the enormous amount of running around that I had to do today, my bangs looked normal when I woke up this morning.  (Two days ago, Brian informed me that my morning bangs made me look like I have a mullet.  In that instance, I obviously have to wet them down and start all over.  I really hope that if you’re reading this,  you read yesterday’s Bang Fever.)

And I’m thankful that World Peace Salad lasts for a least a week in my fridge (as it was this evening’s dinner).

I’m thankful that when Samson got locked in the guest bedroom and peed on things that I like very much, all those things were salvageable.

And I’m thankful for baking soda.

I’m thankful for umbrellas.

And I’m thankful for the way that my mother-in-law is being so sweet and holding a raffle for my step-dad’s medical expenses.  (Charley has an aggressive form of cancer – multiple myeloma – and is currently 3 INCHES shorter than when he married my mom!  It’s cancer of the plasma cells in your blood, which affects your bones and more.  So pray for us and for him.  Oh, and let me know if you want to win some autographed Redskins items for yourself or for someone you know.)

I’m thankful for when people pray for miracles.

And I’m thankful for the way that laughter seems to make things better.

Great things to be thankful for:) I am thankful for reconnecting with family and getting to know them on a whole new level. I am thankful you like sweatpea fragrance mist with shimmer:) let me know when you need more (I work for BBW:) I am thankful we have another wonderful story teller in our family…you and pa:)

    • Aww, and I’m thankful to have that comparison with Pa. At least when I’m old and start repeating myself, I can look over all this Square Piece material and have a variety of stories to choose from!

Thankful for reconciliation, too … whether it be with family, friends or our Heavenly Father.

Samson!!! Oh Cubby Cubs. And speaking of miracles… I had a dream that Charley was cured. My dreams are often foggy and hard to remember the next day but I know that I dreamt this…. I think that it was night before last…. hmmm…
