If you’re new to the Thankful Game, or if you’ve never played with me, then you might want to see what all the fuss is about here.
For those of you who already know, please join me!
In honor of my 128th post, I’d like to take a moment to be thankful.
I’m thankful for sour cream.
And I’m thankful that even when I lose signal 4 times driving from Virginia to West Virginia, my friend, Katie, will keep answering her phone.
I’m thankful that Brian got a part-time, seasonal position at UPS.
And I’m thankful that when he brought his boss home without warning me, I had a bra on under my jammies.
I’m thankful for Orbit wintermint gum.
And I’m thankful for my guard dogs.
I’m thankful for my client who admitted yesterday that she’s putting her Christmas tree up this weekend.
And I’m thankful for the vast number of clients who have asked me this week if I’ve already decorated my Christmas tree.
I’m thankful for Brian not only picking up insoles for my shoes, but bringing them to work so that I could have foot relief sooner than later.
And I’m thankful for my sister’s listening ear.
I’m thankful for the angel who brought homemade rum cake to the salon today.
And I’m thankful that now that I’m past 160 pages in this murder mystery novel I’ve been reading, it’s FINALLY getting good. Sheesh.
I’m thankful that I get to see my family (including the in-laws) this weekend when we have Charley’s raffle.
And I’m thankful for tubs.
I’m thankful for eyelash curlers.
And I’m thankful for aluminum foil.
I’m thankful that I can afford to be warm.
And you?
I’m thankful for your wonderful mother-in-law and everyone in her family who helped with the raffle for Charley.
That Donovan and Olivia have some pretty cool friends.
For the news that Joey shared with me today.
For friends who are quick to ask what they can do to help out … and to let me know they’re praying for us.
For encouragement …
For forgiveness and reconciliation …
For copy/paste …
Oh! Good one with copy/paste! Made me smile! Of course, so did the others.
I am thankful that God is watching out for me, listening to me when I pray, and knowing my prayer when I can’t because I am overwhelmed with life, and for putting wonderful people in my life.
I know what you mean about the way He knows our prayers when we don’t know what to pray.
I’m thankful for my day of rest.
I’m thankful for Abigail, who without fail makes me smile.
I’m thankful for firewood.
I’m thankful for football season.
I’m thankful for God fixing my car, which was cheaper than a mechanic.
I’m thankful for my gray hairs. They make me feel older and wiser. 😛
what??? you have gray hair????
no way!!!!
I’m thankful for good friends.
And a warm bed to sleep in.
And the occasional hot shower.
And that God always provides!
