Having been back to work for a month and a half now, if you can believe it, there are STILL gifts being given for my new baby.
I live on planet Crazy Generousity, just in case you were wondering.
Anyhow, this kindness means that I have to get to writing some more thank you notes! And I think that I’ve made a lot of progress since last week.
Monday: Remembered that I needed to write thank you notes.
Tuesday: Remembered, again, that I needed to write thank you notes.
Wednesday: Remembered, yet again, that I needed to write thank you notes.
Thursday: Moved my box of thank you notes from Bennett’s bay windowsill to the chest beside the glider.
Friday: Remembered that I needed to write thank you notes.
Then a wave of productivity hit me.
Saturday: Moved my box of thank you notes from the chest to the kitchen table.
Moved my box of thank you notes from the kitchen table to the kitchen counter and found a pen.
Moved my box of thank you notes from the kitchen counter to a separate kitchen counter.
Moved my box of thank you notes from the separate kitchen counter back to the kitchen table.
Hunted down the scrap papers of names and addresses I’ve been tossing in my purse.
Sunday: Noticed the box on the kitchen table and remembered that I needed to write some thank you notes.
Ok, guys, here’s hoping that my good intentions turn into good penmanship!
Speaking of good intentions, head on over to this post and finish the sentence, “If my mother’s hands could talk…” Contest ends on Saturday!
🙂
You can do it! Have a little nap and maybe another wave will hit you. 🙂
Awww. I know life is busy for you lately. A good kind of busy though. 🙂
