As if I couldn’t possibly drag out the telling of the birthday party any more than I already have, there’s the matter of the zip lock bags that needs to be concluded.
When I’m milling about in the kitchen, prepping and cleaning, this Bennett boy loves to explore the cabinets, tossing everything behind him in an effort to dig a little deeper… especially tossing the zip lock bags.
So, as I mentioned the other day, I bought Bennett his very own box of zippy bags, decorated it and gifted it to him for his first birthday.
Of course I wish that the video was clearer and that my babe was less distract-o, but after the three minute mark, his enthusiasm picks up a bit. Eventually we see (and hear) some effort to steal Bennett’s attention with the draw of a purple dinosaur laden with enticing buttons. And while it might have peaked his curiosity for a minute, whether or not it’s clear in the videos, nothing fully swayed the babe from the want to stick his little hand back into the box and pull out the next baggy. I truly believed that I was setting the bar low in terms of gift giving! I’m thinking a box of band aids next year…
So precious!
Adorable! I find it funny that Aurora has similar reactions/ facial expressions, must just be babyisms. Thanks for sharing!
A Kleenex box for Christmas! : )
Such a joy! Love his “spins”. 🙂
My mom used to get the kids boxes of tape for Christmas. It was a fav gift. 🙂
I’m looking at everyday objects with new ideas every day!
